Ameraucana Chickens
These birds are valued as they produce a distinctive blue eggshell coloration.  The Ameracuana is an American breed developed in the 1970's bred to eliminate the lethal alleles of the Araucana breed.  They can be cross bred with other varieties of chickens to produce "Easter Eggers" that lay a variety of shades of pink-blue, blue-green, and olive eggs.

We are a registered breeder with the Ameraucana Breeders Club, and we selectively isolate and raise our breeder fowl to have the largest, bluest eggs we can obtain while remaining true to the breed.  We raise black, blue, and splash varieties.  To learn more about the Ameracauna breed, click the Amerauana
